It's based off a prompt from the h/c fest--Spencer's parents died right before Panic! was signed, and he decides to drop out of the band to take care of his sisters. I don't remember where I was going with the original story, but in the variation he's kept up with what Panic's doing and is working to put his sisters through college. And then he gets in a bad car accident one night and is hospitalized. His sisters tell Ryan, and he wakes up to his old band in his hospital room. And then stuff happened.
bunny is unfortunately not about spontaneous transformation into bunnies, although that would be awesome. Brendon's never auditioned for Panic but they got famous anyway. He's working some dead-end job and performing at parties for some extra cash whenever he can. He's somehow hired to play Ryan & Spencer's birthday party and is taking requests when someone asks for a Backstreet Boys song. He asks someone to play guitar for him so he can do the dance, and then everyone falls in love.
