Yuletide nominations
After much gnashing of teeth I settled on my Yuletide noms for the year.
Sneedronningen | The Snow Queen - Hans Christian Andersen
Lappekonen | Lapland Woman (Sneedronningen)
Finnekonen | Finland Woman (Sneedronningen)
Røverpige | Robber Girl (Sneedronningen)
Prindsesse | Princess (Sneedronningen)
Kai, Gerda, and the Snow Queen were already nominated. If I request this it will be for women Getting Shit Done.
Lament - Mount Moriah (Song)
You (Lament)
Narrator (Lament)
I love this song so, so much. You can watch the video here. Sometimes I want to read stories about relationships that are broken beyond repair. If the relationship is fixed through lots of tears and hard work and communication, that's cool. If it's never fixed and you're left with that ache in your heart, that's cool too.
DANGER Daniel - Works
wet teeth in the darkness
or is it the dying little light of the soul
hear
id sink to your city streets if i wasnt buried in your hands
I first saw Daniel Danger's work because of Fall Out Boy and Jensen. He did the cover art for Believers Never Die but I'd seen his stuff earlier on the website for Jensen's Gallery 1988. I just want to know the story behind almost every one of his pieces; they have very rich narratives, I think.
Hark! A Vagrant
Vanessa (Hark! A Vagrant)
Dark-haired Mystery Solving Teen (Hark! A Vagrant)
Light-haired Mystery Solving Teen (Hark! A Vagrant)
Pony (Hark! A Vagrant)
Teens! They are so terrible. And I would read a million stories about Vanessa the girl reporter, so.
